2019/10/04 D3 student Mulya Agung had a presentation in MCSoC-2019

D3 student Mulya Agung had a presentation on “An Automatic MPI Process Mapping Method Considering Locality and Memory Congestion on NUMA Systems” in MCSoC-2019 (IEEE 13th International Symposium on Embedded Multicore/Many-core Systems-on-Chip) held in Singapore from October 1st to October 4th.

2019/08/06 semester-end party

The semester-end party collaborated with Takizawa-Egawa lab, and Kobayashi-Sato lab was held on 3rd August.

Now, summer vacation is coming soon. Hope all labmates could enjoy their breaks.

2019/08/02 Lab introduction at open campus

Tohoku University open campus was held on 30th and 31st July.
At Cyberscience center, lab members introduced to visitors about our research contents by several posters.

M1 student Ebata made a presentation at Summer United Workshops on Parallel, Distributed and Cooperative Processing (SWoPP2019) held at Kitami Civic Center in Kitami, Hokkaido on 25th July.

2019/07/21 M1 Student Ebata Had a Presentation at a Joint Research Presentation with Kobe University

On July 19th, a joint research presentation with the Computational Infrastructure Laboratory at Kobe University was held, and M1 student Ebata made a presentation.

2019/04/20 The hanami party was held

Our lab held a hanami party with Kobayashi lab and Goto lab in the West Park on April 20th.
Under the cherry blossoms, we talked with each other and enjoyed snacks and beer. Everyone had a great time!

2019/04/19 Best poster award and presentation @COOL CHIPS 22

An international conference, IEEE Symposium on Low-Power and High-Speed Chips and Systems (COOL Chips 22) was held in Yokohama on April 17-19, 2019.
3rd-year Ph.D. student Mulya Agung had a presentation on “The Impacts of Locality and Memory Congestion-aware Thread Mapping on Energy Consumption of Modern NUMA Systems”.
Researcher Muhammad Alfian Amrizal had a presentation on “An Energy Optimization Method for Hybrid In-Memory Checkpointing”. Furthermore, he got the Best Poster Award at this conference.

2019/04/10 New group photo uploaded (2019)
