19th Workshop on
Sustained Simulation Performance

March 27th and 28th, 2014. Sendai, Miyagi, Japan.

Toward Future HPC Technologies

We are glad to announce that 19th Workshop on Sustained Performance Simulation (WSSP) is held in March 27th and 28th, 2014 in Sendai, Miyagi, Japan. The purpose of the workshop is to discuss the design methodologies of future supercomputers, through the latest research efforts about large-scale computing with high performance and high efficiency.

The various research efforts will be presented in the workshop. Especially, in this workshop, the final reports of "Feasiblity Study of Future HPC Systems for Memory-Intensive Applications" conducted by Tohoku University, JAMSTEC, and NEC Corporation will be presented. In addition, the recent research activities of RIKEN (JAPAN) and HLRS (Germany) toward the next generation HPC will be reported. All presenters will release the latest results of their research about high performance computing.

We are looking forward to seeing you in the workshop.
