The nearest airport is the Sendai airport. There are domestic flights to the airport from main cities in Japan (Sapporo, Nagoya, Osaka, Fukuoka, Okinawa, and others). The airports of these cities have many international flights, and you can connect to the Sendai airport through these airports. The airport is located about 15km south of downtown Sendai. To get downtown, you can take the railway "Sendai Airport Line", which directly connects the airport to the JR Sendai station.
Local public transportation
From the JR Sendai Station, it is convenient to use the subway bound to "Yagiyama Zoological Park." Get off at "Aobayama" station. The fare is 250 yen. After that, it might be good to go out from the South 1 gate and use Aobayama Shuttle Bus. The nearest bus stop from the workshop place is "School of Engineering Central." No fare is required. Also, the workshop place is also within walking distance from "Aobayama" station about 10 min.
