AI Applications in High-Performance Computing#

Abstract#
The presentation will highlight some of the latest applications of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the context of High-Performance Computing (HPC), each from the perspective of AI users, HPC users, and system administrators. Topics discussed will include: (1) training and inference of Large Language Models (LLMs), considering critical factors such as computation time, cost, and energy efficiency; (2) the merging of AI with physics and simulations; and (3) the emerging area of operational data analytics.
