Abstract#
In the quest for next-generation advanced computing infrastructures, it's paramount to explore future architectures suitable for both scientific and industrial applications. While components like CPU, memory, interconnects, and storage serve as the backbone of these infrastructures, the importance of system software and libraries should not be overlooked. They are vital for leveraging the full potential of cutting-edge hardware architectures. This talk outlines the objectives and approaches of the system software and library research group within the RIKEN feasibility study team, along with system software developments for synchrotron radiation facilities.
