AI at HLRS: Transformative Challenges and Future Horizons¶

Abstract¶
Recent developments in Artificial Intelligence (AI) have significantly affected the traditionally isolated High-Performance Computing (HPC) landscape, introducing new user communities and programming models. Previous discussions have detailed state-of-the-art AI systems at High-Performance Computing Center Stuttgart (HLRS) but placed little emphasis on challenges and future prospects. This workshop offers an ideal chance to delve into the transformative challenges of deploying ML pipelines at HLRS, including increasing AI adoption among engineers, making reproducible AI software stacks available, and ensuring cybersecurity as AI introduces new threats. We will then evaluate possible solutions with new services for the AI community.
