GPU/APU Porting Results of a Cartesian Mesh based Finite-Volume Solver¶

Abstract¶
This paper presents recent porting efforts for the finite-volume solver implemented in the m-AIA software framework. Various optimization steps such as optimized data structures are presented together with the speedup achieved on MI300A APUs. Additionally, selected results of application cases in the field of turbulent flows simulations will be presented.
