Abstract¶
Historically, the Cyberscience Center, Tohoku University, has primarily focused on academic research support in computational science by accelerating scientific numerical simulations, in particular offering vector computing resources. This is our never-changing primary mission. However, the center is now expected to support diverse applications not only in traditional computational science, but also in other emerging application domains such as AI for science. This talk will discuss the next-generation system design and operation that can meet the increasing expectations.
