NFDI4Cat and the German National Research Data Infrastructure#

Abstract#
The talk will give an introduction to the German National Research Data Infrastructure initiative NFDI. With NFDI4Cat, the research data infrastructure for catalysis, we will have a closer look on what the initiative means for a specific discipline. We will look into the different project activities like the efforts for ontology and metadata standard developments, the efforts for data harmonization and user training as well as the infrastructure architecture. The presentation will also give an estimate how the activity will influence the data management in a German hpc center.
