Gaia-X and HPC#

Abstract#
In Europe, Gaia-X, a secure and federated data infrastructure, is becoming increasingly important. Gaia-X is designed to enable industrial and scientific stakeholders to share data and use computing power flexibly and in line with user requirements. To this end, an ecosystem is being built up that primarily involves Cloud solutions. However, many use cases demand more computing power, so it is necessary to evaluate how high-performance computing can be integrated into Gaia-X. At HLRS, we are evaluating possible connecting points through various projects and trying to overcome current challenges. This talk gives an overview about the status of Gaia-X at HLRS.
